VFW Post 1534 is located approximately eight miles north of Palm Springs, California and approximately six miles south of Desert Hot Springs, California on the south end of unincorporated, historic B Bar H Ranch, California in Riverside County’s Seven Palms Valley.

The Post 1534 building dates back to the mid-century when the B Bar H “Dude” Ranch was a guest resort for Hollywood Celebrities. The VFW’s building was the original club house for the the historic B Bar H Ranch and was donated to the VFW by Hollywood’s Mary Pickford in 1972.
The Post 1534 building was renovated and redecorated in 2018 by volunteers led by the Post Commander. Members are always welcomed, and the public is welcomed for dining. All donations made to Post 1534 contribute to the welfare of veterans and to maintain Post 1534.

VFW Post 1534 and its historic location is a desert jewel and a well-kept secret tucked away in a private, peaceful setting near Interstate 10 exiting Palm Drive towards Desert Hot Springs. Whether you are driving in from Mountain View Road from the east or 20th Avenue from the south, connecting on Club House Drive or Bubbling Wells Road will take you to Post 1534. Follow the signs to the VFW.
